I personally know that hoarding is real, and it will make you feel stuck, embarrassed, and emotionally drained. Mine feels like it happened so fast. I use to clean my house room to room daily, but I'm still working on me. It started when my ex husband left me for another woman and it's like i started losing my grip on me. Three years later after doing the bare minimum in my home, i started therapy, and started putting my home back together. Then my Mom died of a massive heart attack and i slipped right back into it. I felt trapped my my own junk. It's now been almost 4 years after losing my Mom, I'm still in therapy, and so far 3 truck loads completely full of junk and trash from my home has been removed. I still have to push myself daily but I'm no longer ashamed to let people in my home. I do know that i had to recognize that i had a problem, I'm the one that loaded up my dad's truck every time, and i chose to stay in therapy. You can clean for someone with this problem or fuss at them, but nothing will change until the one doing the hoarding is ready to change. ❤

DEAR RYAN, it was because of your show that I learned about my boogie men. Also to learn about the things I went through was not crazy. Not only this Ryan the knowledge you gave me had me listen to my son. He was 3, 3 1/2 when we moved and it was then that for the very first time I saw the look of complete terror in my sons face who did not want anything to do with his new room. After watching his mannerism for the day I was convinced he was seeing something that I just couldn't. For the next 6 months the living room was now his bedroom. Because of my experiences growing up I did not ever want him to ever be afraid like I was so I taught him the lords prayer and if anyone ever comes to play in the night he can always say his prayer and they are not welcome. He didn't experiences much however I did. Walked into his room while the blanket floated down. As if he just flipped over and the blanket caught wind. Nope. I checked his pillow for the heat as my kid is a hot body. Nope didn't move. Also when he would sleep away at grandma house for a few nights then it would creat noises in his room. Along with fk with me. I'm a realistic with a.d.h.d. so I have tried to de bunk everything... nope. I've had experiences that had me run ok. SO RYAN WHERE WVER YOU ARE THANK YOU!. Why anyone goes to any church for moral guidance of any sort is beyond me. If you just read the Bible cover to cover, it is clearly one of the most immoral books ever written. No number of apologists can save it in my opinion. I am so glad to no longer believe in deities and the supernatural. A god that could allow such abuse is not worthy of worship. However, it is more pauseable that there is no god listening or that cares at all about anything. The prayers of the suffering so often go unanswered and it is far more likely there is no god, rather than there is one in my most humble opinion. Greedy old men filling their coffers with the pennies of the poor, so they can live lives of pure luxury, no longer has any romantic appeal to me. The church will never get another red cent from me for as long as I live!
